MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Gosh, it has been a while since I have blogged, but with the christmas rush of orders and final markets for the year, it has been VERY busy!

I wanted to wish all of my customers and blog readers a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!  Stay safe and I hope Santa is good to you all.

I will have some new products to launch in 2011, including a range of rag dolls that I have been working on for some time now to get perfect before I show you pics.

My last market will be THIS SATURDAY, and what a wonderful way to finish off the year at the handmade expo where there is high quality hand made goodies for last minute xmas pressies as well as a large variety of food for you to lunch on ( I can highly recommend the potato on the stick!yummmmmm)

THIS SATURDAY - THE ELEMENT COLLECTIVE OPENING PARTY!!

This Saturday Element are opening a new collective store on the Gold Coast.  FREE Ice cream, hot dogs, live music, skate demos....not a bad way to spend a Summer Saturday I say!

Oh and if you're currently on the hunt for a Christmas present for someone special or just for yourself there will also be market stalls there for you to shop at

I will be having a stall there from 12 - 4 pm and would love to see you there!

The Handmade Expo November - how it went...

I had such a great day yesterday at the handmade expo... It was bustling with people searching for that perfect handmade xmas gift and the stalls were just amazing!  the rain held off and although it was a little windy, nowhere near as windy as last month!

I managed to take a pic of my stall too to share with you ...

The highlight of my day was meeting Hayley from Handmade by Haylz ... she was so super sweet and her baby items were just lovely...

I met many of my online friends and as always at the expo, had the most wonderful customers... I am very much looking forward to the December market....the last one until February 2011... I will DEFINATELY have withdrawals !!

THE HANDMADE EXPO - TOMORROW!!

Sienna May will be having a stall at The handmade Expo tomorrow and I will be having items for sale from  $3,  so come along and have a peek!

This market will be huuuuuuuuuge with 140 stalls of hand made goodies, HEAVEN if you like to give hand made gifts as presents - Xmas is FAST approaching!

There is food vendors there too, so you can shop, lunch, then shop some more!!

Please note though, not many stall holders have EFTPOS, so pop over to an ATM before you come along..

so many ideas... so little time...!

I'm pretty sure that we all feel like this from time to time!

I visited the craft & quilt expo in Brisbane on Saturday, and spent the whole day there immersed in creative heaven..

There were workshops a plenty, with my fave being the doll making by katkins designs . After the workshop, I chatted to the wonderful and super helpful  Karlene from Katkins Designs and learned so much about doll making and in particular, how to create a dolls face without it looking creepy..

I also attended a  felting workshop and made a felt rose...  It was so much fun!  I had not done felting before and it was certainly different to anything I had ever done.

I purchased many many many goodies  ( I am sooooooooooooo broke now!!) and cannot wait to create more beautiful things to share with you all soon.

I have 2 weeks holiday from work in the first week of November, so watch this space... there will be new posts galore and lots of stock... all in time for xmas shopping!

The Handmade Expo - how it all went...

WOW!!!

What an awesome day I had at the handmade expo yesterday!!

The market is very well run and the customers are just lovely, as are the other market stall holders.

I didn't take any pics because even though the sun was shining, the wind was blowing at full force and seriously, keeping the stock from blowing over whilst taking a pic proved impossible!

I had the company of Trumans flowers at the stall next to me and I loved them! We had so much fun and they were a pleasure to meet...

I am already so excited for the next market in November. Hopefully you will all be able to make it along to the November market, it truly is a wonderful experience and there is so many beautiful handmade items there... I know I will be getting some chrissy shopping done next month there!

The Handmade Expo - TOMORROW!! SALE SALE SALE

Good morning!

Don't forget the handmade expo is on tomorrow and I will be having a stall there..

The Handmade Expo - Saturday 16th October

Good morning everyone!

Sienna May will be having a stall at The Handmade Expo on October 16th at the Ipswich Turf Club, Brisbane Road, Bundamba..

There will be many stalls of handmade delights there and with Christmas coming up, beat the rush and come and spoil that special somebody (or yourself!) with some beautiful hand made gifts.

Sienna May will be having a "super sale" section in the stall, and there are MASSIVE markdowns on some of the left over Kimmis Kustom Designs stock... Great for stocking fillers and the prices are unbelievable!

So, come along and check it out! I would love to meet you there!

The Fourth Annual Softies For Mirabel :: Handmade Toys For Rad Kids!

The Mirabel Foundation assists children who have been orphaned or abandoned due to parental illicit drug use and are now in the care of extended family (kinship care).

Mirabel believes that every child deserves a childhood and its mission is to break the destructive cycle of addiction.

Mirabel supports children aged 0-17 years and works at restoring a child’s sense of self-worth, belonging and hope for the future in order for them to reach their full potential as young adults.

Each year the lovely Pip from Meet me at Mike's rounds up all crafty types to create toys for these special children in time for christmas, because these kids might like a trusty buddy to snuggle down with. And because softies are very good listeners, right?

So Sienna May is joining in and donating some softies to this wonderful cause...

If you know someone who can sew that would like to participate and make a softie or 2, go here for all the details...

Of course, even if you can't sew a stitch, you could always make a donation here to help make a difference in these kid's lives and also the families who assist in raising them.

This is a really great cause and I am excited to be a part of it and hope that you can too!

Great news!  Kimmis Kustom designs has been invited to attend the September  Handmade Expo!
This is going to be super awesome, as the lovely ladies handpick exhibitors of a high standard, so there will be some excellent handmade stalls there, so come along!!
